Mom's Waldorf Salad
Mom used to make this salad often when we grew up. I always thought the combination of ingredients seemed strange, but the resulting flavor is really delicious.
2 ½ Cups Roasted Chicken, Chopped
2 Medium Apples, Chopped
2 Medium Stalks of Celery, Thinly Sliced
¾ Cup Mayonnaise
¼ Cup Red Grapes, Seedless (Sliced in Half)
1/3 Cup Walnuts, Chopped
1/3 Cup Raisins
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together and add salt & pepper to taste. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. Serve cold.
