Shrimp Cocktail with Sauce

Shrimp cocktail is on my menu whenever I entertain.  I like to serve this in a large decorative glass.  I place ice cubes under the shrimp to keep the shrimp chilled.

 

INGREDIENTS:

24 Large Raw Shrimp, Cleaned & Deveined (Tail On)

1 Large Lemon, Cut in Wedges

Old Bay Seasoning

 

Cocktail Sauce:

1 Cup Ketchup

2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

1 ½ Tbsp. Fresh Horseradish

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a large pot of boiling water, add the raw shrimp.  The shrimp should be done cooking when the water returns to a boil (approx. 5-7 minutes).  The shrimp should be bright pink.  Immediately drain the shrimp and place in an ice bath to cool, approx. 2 minutes.  Meanwhile, mix all cocktail sauce ingredients in a small bowl.  Drain the shrimp, sprinkle with seasoning, and serve with the cocktail sauce and lemon wedges.  Shrimp should be served cold.
