Grilled Tuna Steaks with Lemon & Oregano
This is a delicious recipe for tuna steaks, seasoned simply with fresh lemon juice and fresh oregano.
4 Tuna Steaks (Approx. 1” Thick)
Salt & Pepper
1 Tsp. Fresh Oregano
2 Lemons, Cut in Half
Drizzle the olive oil over the tuna steaks, then liberally season both sides of the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle the tuna steaks with fresh oregano. Place the tuna steaks on an outdoor grill over medium heat for approx. 2-3 minutes per side (the outside will be browned, but the inside will still be pink). During the last few minutes of cooking time, place the lemon halves on the grill grates (cut side down), and grill until golden brown. Let the chops rest for several minutes before cutting. Serve warm with the grilled lemon.
