Sicilian Sangria

This is a delicious option, combining Italian red wine with Cointreau and fresh blood oranges.

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 Bottle Dry Italian Red Wine (750 ml)

1 Cup Cointreau

1 Cup Orange Juice

1 Cup Lemon-Lime Soda (like Sprite)

Sliced Oranges

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a large pitcher, mix the wine, Cointreau, orange juice and soda. Refrigerate overnight if possible.  When ready to serve, add the sliced oranges and serve cold, over ice.  Garnish with additional fruit, if desired.
