Mom made cheese puffs every time she entertained.  These cheese puffs are a perfect savory appetizer bite.  The recipe has been modified slightly over the years.  Feel free to substitute your favorite cheese.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Stick of Butter

1 Cup All Purpose Flour

2 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated

1Tsp. Dried Oregano

¼ Cup Light Cream

½ Tsp. Salt & ½ Tsp. Black Pepper

 

DIRECTIONS:

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Place onto a greased cookie sheet into ½” balls. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set. Remove from refrigerator and place in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
